The first 2019 NFL product I busted was the brand new Legacy set. Taking over from Classics, which was the set from the last handful of years that featured current players, the latest crop of rookies (in their college uniforms) and legends of the game, Legacy picks up right where Classics left off. Hall of Famers such as Barry Sanders and Joe Montana were heavily placed into this set, while Fan Favorites such as Tony Siragusa, Ickey Woods and Robert Smith were included and even put pen to cardboard for one of the two autographs pulled per box.

Along with the autos, each Hobby Box included #’d parallels of various colors, Premium Edition cards with Panini’s Optichrome technology, as well as a host of other insert sets. Personally, I enjoyed the Premium Edition cards the most. The design of the base card left me wanting more, but once you give it some shininess, I’m all in.

From a pure value standpoint, the hobby box breakdown is this. You receive 128 cards per box. Within those 128 cards, you get 2 autographs, 32 rookies, 10 parallels and 10 inserts on average. If you are looking to build a set from 2019 Legacy, you would probably need to buy about 3 boxes in order to collect the whole 200 card set (rookies included). With a retail price of ~$85 per box, that equates to $.67 per card, which isn’t too shabby in this day and age of card collecting. But hey…why spend all that money when you can buy the whole base set (and inserts, parallels and autos too!) HERE?

The Legacy set kicked off what should be an exciting 2019 collecting season for football fans. It’s a nice low cost set to get you geared up for the season and just the first showcase presentation on Cards Czar.

If an item is damaged in transit, or is an incorrect item, please CONTACT US for replacement details within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not accept any liability for the content of the items we sell. Due to the fluctuating value of sports cards, Card Czar has a no return policy on hobby card singles or Wax & Packs products. All sales are final.

We do accept a 30-day return policy on unopened hobby card supplies, apparel and sports accessories.

Please note that a 10% re-stocking fee applies for any returned merchandise unless it was damaged in transit, has a manufacturer defect, or is an incorrect item. We can refund shipping costs only if the return is the result of our error. Otherwise, shipping costs will not be refunded as they are the responsibility of the customer, and refunds will be for product costs only.

Refunds will be processed within 1-3 business days after arrival back in our warehouse, and will be processed back to the payment method used for the transaction. In the event it is not possible to refund back to the original payment method used refunds will be processed to your account as store credit. Once processed, you should see the refunded amount post back to your payment method within 3-5 days depending on your specific financial institution. Refunds processed as store credit will be immediately available for use in your account.
